Railcars

Location: Locations Vary

Series started in 1998 while living in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The letterforms found on the sides of railcars represent purely functional typography. I have made a point of photographing these letterforms in a manner that removes them from that recontextualizes them as formal compositions.
